Resins and Varnishes
Resins : These epoxy, polyurethane, or silicone formulas are used to cover the previously varnished bobbins to ensure extra protection, or are more frequently used on components and electric circuits. These resins (bi-components in general) are either manually applied or applied using a device from an automatic mixing machine. Main applications are in coated transformers, condensers, electronic cards, sensors, range detectors, coated stators and rotors.
Impregnating & Finishing varnishes : Impregnation consists of recovering bobbins with a varnish solution in a solvent or monomer reactive. The varnishes frequently used are phenol, polyester, polyurethane, silicone, or acrylic based. The monomers (styrene, vinyl toluene, and diallylphatalate) are also used to dissolve the base, and in turn react with increased temperatures. Our products range from traditional varnish solvents to unsaturated polyesters and reactive monomers or even water based products. We can offer you varnishes and resins adapted for all types of uses (dip, trickle, dip and roll, Vacuum Pressure Impregnation...). Finishing varnishes are recommended to improve presentation, but above all to provide extra protection especially for materials subject to severe environments. Main applications are in pump motors, washing machines, mowers, vacuum cleaners, refrigerators, transformers, and hermetic groups...
